The Wydown Coffee Shop
If you're looking for a new coffee spot in the neighborhood, The Wydown Coffee Shop is definitely worth checking out. Located inside the Apollo Apartments on H Street NE, The Wydown is a trendy coffee bar serving up espresso, drip coffee, tea, pastries made in-house, and more (cocktails are also on the menu here). There were a few breakfast items on the menu that caught our eye, but the banana bread won us over. What we especially enjoyed was lounging in the Apollo’s split-level lobby to take in the scene from the architecture to the decor, we felt right at home. So if you're in the mood for trying something new (like us!), swing by The Wydown Coffee Shop. You won't be disappointed.
